If you want to know what an e-mail alias is, click here.
What is an e-mail alias? - An e-mail alias is a false e-mail address that automatically forwards to a true e-mail address, called a POP address or POP account. The POP address is the e-mail address given you by your Internet Service Provider (ISP), the company you use to connect to the Internet. An alias gives you the luxury of creating cooler sounding e-mail addresses than the ones given out by ISP's. Your full name - Easy! Just type your first and last name here so we know who the alias you create is assigned to. Your S.S. unit address - Just type your unit number and street so we know you REALLY are a resident. Your desired @sabrespringshoa.org alias - Type ONLY the alias you want to create. For example, if you want your alias to be oscar@sabrespringshoa.org, type the word "oscar" here (without the quotation marks). Your True/POP e-mail address - This is for your TRUE or what's called POP e-mail address, the e-mail address you want your alias to forward to. If you are an AOL user, for example, and your AOL address is oscar252@aol.com, you should type "oscar252@aol.com" here (without the quotation marks). If you change your ISP or your POP e-mail address, your alias will cease functioning. You'll need to advise us of the new POP address at alias@sabrespringshoa.org. If you have any questions, please e-mail them to us at alias@sabrespringshoa.org. |
